On May 20, 2025, Prime Video dropped Motorheads, and it’s already revving up major attention. Think street racing meets teenage drama with a layer of family mystery — all set in the fictional Rust Belt town of Ironwood, Pennsylvania. A group of teens, each with their own baggage and ambitions, get drawn into a world of speed, secrets, and emotional wreckage. If you’re into high-stakes stories with a Fast & Furious vibe and Riverdale-style twists, this one’s for you.
The show quickly climbed to the top of Prime Video’s charts, becoming the #1 most-watched series in the U.S. on May 22 and 23, 2025.
Prime Video hasn’t greenlit Season 2 just yet, but all signs point to a return. The creators are dropping hints, the cast is on board, and the story is clearly far from over.
Even better: showrunner John A. Norris recently confirmed on X (formerly Twitter) that the entire script for Season 2 is already written. So while there’s no official announcement yet, it seems like only a matter of time before we’re back in Ironwood.
You can stream all 10 episodes of Motorheads Season 1 right now on Prime Video
